Furthermore, root and ems users, who are critical for operation, may be configured in
the local user database (and not on the RADIUS servers) – thus additionally
simplifying Mediant 8000 emergency maintenance.
EMS management application also supports user authentication using centralized
RADIUS servers. Its implementation lacks the above limitation and does not require
new user pre-provisioning. See the "LTRT-XXXX EMS User Manual" for detailed
information.
