Pull the bearing outer ring (see arrow) out of the bearing
hole and remove the shim behind.
Heat slotted nut by means of hot-air blower.
Slotted nut is secured with Loctite (Type no.: 262)!
Loosen slotted nut and remove the shim behind.

(S) Fixing device 532227
(S) Locking device 509110
Pull the input flange from the input pinion and use a lever
to lift the shaft seal behind out of the axle drive housing.
