Basic software procedures
Using an UEFI BIOS
Ê Enter the BIOS setup menu.
Ê Select the Advanced menu.
The addresses are displayed at the Advanced menu main page.
I Only network controllers supporting the Command Line Protocol
(CLP) will be displayed.
Using the vendor tools in a Legacy BIOS
To get the WWN address use the vendor tools, see "Using the vendor tools
in a Legacy BIOS" on page 116.
5.2.16.3 Looking for the GUID address of an infiniband or Omni-Path
controller
There are several possible locations where these addresses can be found.
Ê Inform the customer about the new or changed GUID address.
Checking the label
Ê If available, check the label on the controller.
Beside the part number, you may find the GUID address.
Using the vendor tools in a Legacy BIOS
To get the GUID address use the vendor tools, see "Using the vendor tools
in a Legacy BIOS" on page 116.
5.2.16.4 Looking for SAS addresses of SAS controllers for external
devices
There are several possible locations where these addresses can be found.
Ê Inform the customer about the new SAS address. The customer need the
new SAS address, especially when the server is connected to a Fujitsu
Storage ETERNUS system.
