A2: CHECK FOR STRESSED GEARSHIFT STABILISER
1 Detach the gearshift stabiliser from the
transmission.
• Is the stabiliser stressed?
Yes
Undo the engine/transmission mountings;
align the engine/transmission in such a way
that the gearshift stabiliser can be installed
free from tension. Tighten the
engine/
transmission mounting.

Adjust the gearshift mechanism.
