Removal
1.
CAUTION: Support the halfshaft. The
inner joint must not be bent more
than 18 degrees. The outer joint must
not be bent more than 45 degrees.
CAUTION: Pull the right-hand halfshaft
out straight, otherwise the oil seal will
be damaged.
NOTE: Escaping oil.
Remove the right-hand halfshaft and secure
it. For additional information,
refer to
Section 205-04.
2. NOTE: Escaping oil.
Remove the left-hand halfshaft. For
additional information,
refer to Section 205-
04.
3. Using the special tool, remove the left-hand
front drive halfshaft oil seal.
