DOT 4 brake fluid SAE J1703 JUN91
Removal
WARNING: Brake fluid contains polygly-
col ethers and polyglycols. Avoid con-
tact with the eyes. Wash hands thor-
oughly after handling. If brake fluid con-
tacts the eyes, flush the eyes for 15
minutes with cold running water. Get
medical attention if irritation persists. If
taken internally, drink water and induce
vomiting. Get medical attention immedi-
ately Failure to follow these instructions
may result in personal injury.
CAUTION: If brake fluid is split on the
paintwork, the affected area must be
immediately washed down with cold wa-
ter.
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For
additional information,
refer to Section 414-
01.
2. Drain the brake fluid reservoir.
3. Remove the fuel lines and the pressure
hose from the clutch master cylinder.
1. Remove the hose clamp.
• Remove and seal the feed line.
2. Remove the securing clip.
• Remove and seal the pressure hose.
