Jacking
WARNING: Always position the vehicle
on a hard level surface. If the vehicle
must be jacked up on a soft surface use
load spreading blocks under the jack.
Always use a chock at the wheel
diagonally opposite the jack. Failure to
follow these instructions may result in
personal injury.
Before commencing any repairs that involve
jacking the vehicle, it is essential that the
following instructions are fully understood.
It is important that only the correct jacking points
are used at all times. The vehicle may be lifted by
positioning a jack under the sill, forward of the
rear wheel or behind the front wheel openings.
Use a cushioned pad, if possible, to avoid
damaging the body paint.
