Removal
1. Remove the valve cover. For additional
information, refer to Valve Cover in this
s
ection.
2. NOTE:
The camshaft sprocket timing mark
and both colored links on the timing chain
must line up.
Set the engine to TDC on cylinder No. 1.
and wire together the chain and sprocket.
3. Remove the timing chain hydraulic
tensioner.
