Removal
1. Loosen the front wheel nuts.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
For additional information,
refer to Section 100-02.
3. Remove the front road wheel.
4. Loosen the tie rod end nuts.
1. Loosen the lock nut.
2. Loosen the retaining nut.

CAUTION: When the tie rod end is
separated from the knuckle the ball
joint seal should be protected.
Detach the tie rod end from the wheel
knuckle.
1. Release the tie rod end.
2. Remove the retaining nut.
