3. Disassemble the strut and spring assembly.
Spring clamps removed for clarity.
1. Remove the thrust-bearing nut.
2. Remove the thrust bearing.
3. Remove the spring seat.
4. Remove the spring.
5. Remove the boot.
6. Remove the bump stop.
7. Remove the dust cover.
Assembly
1. NOTE: Make sure that the spring ends butt
correctly against the upper and lower spring
seats.
To assemble, reverse the disassembly
procedure.
