3. Dismantle the tripod assembly
1. Remove the rollers.
2. Detach the snap-ring.
4. Pull off the tripod assembly
• Remove the boot.

CAUTION: Do not damage the bearing
cage.
Release the constant velocity joint at the
wheel end.
1. Separate and discard the clamping
straps. Push back the boot.
2. Release the constant velocity joint from
the snap-ring seat using a brass drift.
6. Detach the constant velocity joint.
1. Pull off the constant velocity joint.
2. Detach the snap-ring.
3. Pull off the boot.
