REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION (CONTINUED)
15. NOTE: Lower the crossmember to gain
access to the power steering gear.
Remove the bolts.
16. Remove the steering gear floor seal.
Vehicles with 1.6L / 1.3L engine
17. Remove the PSP switch.
1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. Remove the PSP switch.
18. Disconnect the power steering pump high-
pressure line.
1. Detach the power steering high-pressure
line support brackets.
2. Disconnect the union.
• Allow the fluid to drain into a suitable
container.
