5. The DOS prompt ”T3700G-52TQ>” will appear after pressing the Enter button as shown in
Figure 1-2. It indicates that you can use the CLI now.

1.1.2 Configuring the Privileged EXEC Mode Password
To configure the switch remotely by a Telnet or SSH connection, please set a password for
entering the Privileged EXEC Mode through the console connection first. Follow the steps in
1.1.1 Logon by a console port to log in to the switch, and then follow the steps shown in
Figure
1-3 to configure the Privileged EXEC Mode password.
