Chapter 51 Management Port Commands
51.1 management-port protocol
Description
This management-port protocol command is used to specify the
management port configuration protocol.
Syntax
management-port protocol { dhcp | none }
Parameter
dhcp —— Specify the management port configuration protocol as DHCP.
none
——Specify the management port configuration protocol as None.

Example
Specify the management port configuration protocol as DHCP:

51.2 management-port protocol dhcp client-id
Description
This management-port protocol dhcp client-id command is used to enable
the management port to carry with client ID option (Option 61) when the
management port obtains an IP address from the DHCP server. The client ID
option can be the unique identifier for a DHCP client. To disable the
management port to carry with client ID option (Option 61), please use the no
management-port protocol dhcp client-id command.
