Removal
1. NOTE: The compressor clutch can be
changed without needing to detach the
compressor from the refrigerant circuit. If
necessary the compressor must be held in
place using a cable tie, so that the refrigerant
lines are not damaged.
Remove the air-conditioning compressor.
For additional information,
refer to Air-conditioning Compressor in this section
2. Detach the compressor drive plate (shown
removed).
• Remove the bolt, in doing so use a
clamping strap to stop the drive plate from
turning.
3. Detach the compressor pulley.
• Detach the pulley snap-ring.
• Detach the spacer shims.
