CAUTION: Using a suitable cloth,
cover the generator to prevent
ingress of power steering fluid.
Disconnect the power steering low-pressure
line from the power steering pump.
• Allow the fluid to drain into a suitable
container.
6. Disconnect the power steering high-
pressure line.
1. Disconnect the power steering high-
pressure line from the power steering
pump.
2. Remove the power steering pump and
power steering high-pressure line support
bracket bolt.
• Allow the fluid to drain into a suitable
container.
7. Remove the power steering pump.
8. NOTE: When installing a new power steering
pump, the power steering pump pulley should
be removed and retained.
Using the special tool, remove the power
steering pump pulley.
