Ê Fully open the load plate (1).
Ê Carefully remove the defective CPU from its socket in a vertical motion (2).
V CAUTION!
Be careful not to touch or bend the spring contacts on the CPU
socket.
Ê Thoroughly clean residual thermal paste from the CPU surface using a lint-
free cloth.
