11. Cylinder head and gasket
Note:
When removing only the camshaft
or
the cylinder
head, the timing chain should be lifted upward
to
prevent the slipper head
of
the chain adjuster from
flying
out
and causing a difficulty
in
adjusting the
timing chain.
Valve and valve spring :
Remove the valve and valve spring, use the valve spring
lifter (49 0636
IOOA)
and pivot (49 0221 222A) and
compress the valve spring.
1. Taper sleeves
2. Valve spring upper seats
3. Valve springs (outer and inner)
4.
Valve spring lower seats
5. Valve (inlet and exhaust)
Note:
Place
the
taper sleeves, upper spring seats, valve springs,
lower spring seats and valves in order
in
a suitable case
for reassembling.
Crankshaft pulley and clutch assembly :
Remove the crankshaft pulley and clutch assembly,
use the brake
(49
0118 271A).
