VALVE
The fuel
cut
valve
is
fitted in the
fuel"
line between
the fuel pump and the carburetor.
When the valve body is inclined more than
60°
laterally,
the fuel
cut
valve
is
operated and the fuel supply
to
the carburetor is cut.
To set back the check balls
in
the valve to the original
position disconnect the hoses at the valve and blow
in
air
from the
outlet
port
of
the valve. Then, blow
in
air from the inlet part
to
confinn
that the passage
is open.
To replace the fuel
cut
valve, proceed as follows:
1.
Raise the vehicle and support with stands.
2. Remove the attaching bolts and remove the fuel
cut
valve and bracket assembly.
3. Disconnect the hoses at the fuel
cut
valve and
remove the valve.

FUEL
LINE
Inspect the fuel lines for leaks and tighten the fuel
line connections
to
prevent leakage.
It
is
important
to
keep the fuel system clean and free
from water.
If
an excessive amount
of
dirt
or
water
is found, drain the fuel tank and blow
out
the fuel
lines with compressed air.
