Start
the engine and increase the engine speed
to
about
2,000
rpm.
7. Decrease the engine speed and make sure the engine
speed
is
1,200

100
rpm.
If
the engine speed
is
not
within the specification,
turn the throttle opener adjusting screw
in

ut
until the specified engine speed
is
obtained

When air con. switch

ON
to an equivalent opening
to

rpm at idle with distributor vacuum
line connected.
e. Replacing
three-way
solenoid valve
Remove the three way solenoid valve as follows:
l.
Coupler
2.
Vacuum
sensing tubes
3.
Three-way solenoid valve attaching bolt.
4. Three-way solenoid
valve
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Checking three-way
solenoid valve
1.
Disconnect
the vacuum sensing tube

from the
servo diaphragm.
2. Disconnect the vacuum sensing tube

from the
threee-way solenoid valve.
3.
Di
sconnect the coupler
4. Blow through the three-way solenoid valve from
the vacuum sensing tube
@
.
Make sure the
ai
r
passes through the valve and comes o
ut
from the
port
©·
5.
Connect the battery power to terminal in the coupler.
6. Blow through the three way solenoid valve from
the disconnect tube
@
.
Make sure the air passes
through the valve and comes
out
from the air filter
©
of
the valve.
7.
If
the three way solenoid valve does not operate
properly, replace with a new one.
