identifica-
tion.
7. Disconnect the pressure and return lines from the
steering gear. Plug
the lines and port in the gear
to
prevent entry
of
dirt.
Raise the front end
of
the vehicle and support with
stands.

9. Pitman arm
Use

10.
Remove the bolts and nuts retaining the steering
gear housing
to
the body.
Slide
the gear
off
the coupling and remove the gear.
