Valve·
Remove all carbon from the valves. Visually inspect
all
valves
for warpage, cracks
or
excessive burning
and replace
if
any
of
these conditions are found.
Replace any worn, pitted or corroded
valves
that can
not be cleaned or refaced.
Measure the diameter
of
the
valve
stem at two
or
three
places along the length
of
the stem with a micrometer.
Replace
if
the stem diameter
is
less
than 7.980
mm
