1. Drain the coolant from the radiator until
the
coolant
level
is
below the inlet manifold.
2.
Disconnect the vacuum sensing tubes from the valve.
3. Loosen and remove the water

valve from
the inlet manifold.
4. Install the water thermo
valv

by following

removal procedures
in
the reverse order.

Three
Way
Solenoid Valve
a. Replacing
three
way solenoid valve
Remove the three way solenoid valve as follows:
1.
Disconnect the coupler
2. Disconnect the vacuum sensing tubes from the
th
ree
way solenoid
valve.
3. Remove the three way solenoid
valve
attaching bolts
and remove the valve.
4.
Install the
valve
in the reverse order
of
removing.
b. Checking
three
way
solenoid valve
(for No. 1 relief valve)
I.
Disconnect the vacuum sensing tubes from the
three way solenoid
valve
and vacuum pipe.
2. Blow through the solenoid
valve
from the vacuum
sensing tube
@ .
Make sure the air passes through
the
valve
and comes
out
from the air filter
@
of
the solenoid valve.
3. Disconnect the coupler and connect the battery
power
to
terminal in the coupler.
4.
Blow through the solenoid
valve
from the vacuum
,
sensing tube
@ .
Make
sure the air passes through
the
valve
and comes
out
from the port

5.
If
the three way solenoid
valve
does
not
operate
properly, replace with a new one.
