G2: CHECK OPERATION OF PARK BRAKE WARNING INDICATOR
1 Make sure the parking brake is in the ON
position.
• Does the brake warning indicator illuminate?
 Yes
GO TO G3
 No
GO TO G4
G3: CHECK OPERATION OF BRAKE FLUID LEVEL SWITCH

4 Connect a jumper wire between the brake fluid
level switch C34 pin 2, circuit 31S-WB7
(BK/BU), harness side and C34 pin 3, circuit
31-WB7 (BK), harness side.
• Does the brake warning indicator illuminate?
 Yes
INSTALL a new brake fluid level switch.
TEST the system for normal operation.
 No
REPAIR circuit 31-WB37 (BK) or circuit
31S-WB7 (BK/BU). TEST the system for
normal operation.
G4: CHECK OPERATION OF PARKING BRAKE SWITCH
1 Make sure that the parking brake is in ON posi-
tion.
2 Measure the resistance between the brake
fluid level switch C34 pin 1, circuit 31S-WC18
(BK), harness side and ground.
• Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
 Yes
REPAIR circuit 31S-WC18 (BK). TEST the
system for normal operation.
 No
GO TO G5
