6. CAUTION: Cover the grooves on the
valve stems with the installation
sleeves.
NOTE: Remove the installation sleeves after
fitting the valve stem seals.
Lubricate the new valve stem seals with
engine oil and fit them.
7. Fit the valve springs with the valve spring
retainers.
1. Compress the valve springs using the
installer.
2. Insert the valve collets in the grooves in
the valve stem.
8. NOTE: Tightening sequence.
Fit the inlet manifold with a new gasket.
9. Fit the parts on the right-hand side of the
cylinder head.

2. Engine lifting eye
3. Coolant hose
