12. NOTE: The inner joint must not bend more
than 18 degrees; the outer joint must not
bend more than 45 degrees.
Using the special tool and a puller, detach
the halfshaft from the wheel hub.
13. Remove the wheel knuckle from the
suspension unit.
1. Insert the special tool and rotate through
90 degrees.
2. Remove the wheel knuckle.
• Secure the halfshaft out of the way.
Installation
1. Install the wheel knuckle to the suspension
unit.
2.
CAUTION: Make sure the halfshaft is
completely installed into the wheel
hub.
Using the special tool, install the halfshaft
into the wheel hub.
