24. NOTE: Use a wooden support.
Fit the snap-rings for the input and output
shafts.
25. NOTE: Turn the snap-rings so that these lie
in the recesses in the gasket.
Fit the gasket.
• Insert the assembly plug.
26. Install the 5th gear housing.
CAUTION: Detach the transmission from
the assembly stand and carry out the
following steps on the press.
