10.9.8 Example for configuring PPPoE+
Networking requirements
As shown in Figure 10-12, to prevent illegal clients from accessing and managing legal users,
you can configure PPPoE+ on the Switch.

GE 1/1/1 and GE 1/1/2 are connected to Client 1 and Client 2 respectively. GE 1/1/3 is
connected to the PPPoE server.

Enable global PPPoE+, and PPPoE on GE 1/1/1 and GE 1/1/2. Configure GE 1/1/3 as
the trusted interface.

Configure the attached string of Circuit ID to raisecom, padding information about
Circuit ID on GE 1/1/1 to user01, padding information about Circuit ID on GE 1/1/2 to
the MAC address of Client 2, in ASCII format.

Enable Tag overwriting on GE 1/1/1 and GE 1/1/2.
