3.2.1.1 "File"- menu
This menu offers functions for working with the database and for printing.
The menu's commands are as follows:
Opens an existing database
Saves all changes made to the current database
Saves all settings in a different, user-specified database
Exports module settings in the project database format of the company Vector Informatik
GmbH or in imc's CAN-Assistant format or as an XML-file.
Import module configuration from a XML-file.
Prints out the module settings
Displays a preview of the printout on the screen
For selecting a printer and a printer connection
3.2.1.2 "Edit"- menu
The menu's commands are as follows:
Cancels the effect of the last editing function performed
Removes data from the document into the Clipboard
Copies data into the Clipboard from the document. Copies a module configuration, if a
module is selected.
Inserts data into the document from the Clipboard
Adds a new message to the module configuration
Adds a new virtual channel to the module configuration
Renames a module, message or channel
Deletes a module, a CAN-message or a virtual channel
Starts imc - sensors database
Paste selected sensor from imc – sensor into selected channels, to set parameters.
