drive card bracket
assembly.

Remove the
media.

Is the fuser unit assembly installed properly?
Go to step 3. Install the fuser

properly.

Check the fuser unit assembly for proper connection.
Is the above component properly connected.
Go to step 4. Repair the
connection.

Perform a print test.
Does the error continue?
Replace the fuser
unit assembly.

page 4-15.
Go to step 5.

drum.

Install the Y PC drum in one of the other three PC locations.
Ensure that all PC drum slots contain a PC drum. Perform a
POR.
Does the error remain or follow the problematic cartridge?
Replace the
problematic PC
drum with a new
one.
Go to step 3.

Check the appropriate smartchip socket, located on the
developer interlock plate assembly for proper connection.
Is the above component properly connected?
Go to step 4. Replace the
connection.
