1. Specify distinguishing circuit release from on-hook, noise, and temporary interruption. There are four probable
situations for Tie line release detection:
 Called side hangs up first. The circuit is released 92 ms. + specified time after the other party disconnects the call.
 Called side hangs up second. The circuit is released when the specified time has elapsed after the other party
hangs up.
 Originating side hangs up first. The circuit is released 92 ms. + specified time after the other party hangs up.
 Originating side hangs up second. The circuit is released when the specified time has elapsed after the other
party hangs up.
