ALU(config)# clock timezone asia calcutta
CLOCK SET
EXAMPLE
ALU(config)# clock set 11:50:01 09/29/2009
The system clock is changed.
Current setting is Tue Sep 29 11:50:01 2009
ALU(config)# show clock
RTC set to Tue Sep 29 11:50:11 2009
System time is Tue Sep 29 17:20:11 IST 2009
Timezone set to ASIA/CALCUTTA
Not synchronized with external source
Command (in CM) Description
clock timezone <time-zone>
<sub-timezone>
This command allows you to set the time
zone. This command lists the names of the
time zones and the sub time zones.
no clock timezone This command will remove the timezone
settings, and sets it to the default, GMT/UTC.
Command (in CM) Description
clock set <hh:mm:ss> <mm/
dd/yyyy> [timezone <zone>
<sub-timezone>]
This command allows you to set the RTC as
well as the system’s clock - date and time.
The time must be specified as GMT/UTC.
The
year range is between 2000 - 2036.
Use Timezone parameter to set the clock
timezone.
show clock This command displays the RTC and
system’s operational date and time.
