DHCP CLIENT CONFIGURATION STEPS
The following steps details the procedure to configure DHCP client on
OmniAccess 5740 USG:
Step 1: Create a DHCP client object. See “To Create a DHCP Client Object”
Step 2: Configure host name of the DHCP client. See “To Configure Host Name
of the DHCP Client” (Optional)
Step 3: Configure DHCP client object optional parameters. See “To
Configure DHCP Client Object Parameters”
• Configure vendor class identifier for a client object. See “To Configure

• Configure client identifier for a client object. See “To Configure Client

• Specify the IP address to be obtained from the server. See “To Request a
