This chapter covers the Routing Information Protocol (RIP) configuration used in
the OmniAccess 5740 USG. It provides a broad overview on RIP V1 and V2
configuration including the timer, authentication, default route, and monitoring
commands.
For a detailed information on the RIP commands, refer to the RIP chapter in the
OmniAccess 5740 Unified Services Gateway CLI Command Reference
Guide.

The “RIP Overview” section serves only as an additional information on RIP. You
