TERMINAL SETTINGS
EXAMPLE
ALU(config)# terminal length 10
ALU(config)# terminal monitor
SYSTEM NAME
By default, the System name is “ALU”. To give the system a more informative
name, use the ‘hostname’ command. The host name shows up in the CLI prompt.
EXAMPLE
ALU(config)# hostname ALU
Command (in CM) Description
terminal length {0|<5-512>} Sets the terminal length for the session.
terminal monitor [<0-7>] This command is used to display the log
messages of specified and higher
(numerically lower) priorities in the
terminal window. This terminal could be
launched through SSH or Telnet.
Command (in CM) Description
hostname <name> To configure the system name.
