This chapter documents the Command Line Interface (CLI) commands for
configuring Intrusion Detection/Intrusion Prevention System (IDS/IPS) on an
interface.
For instructions on using the commands and to get a detailed description on each
of their parameters, refer to Intrusion Detection/Intrusion Prevention System
chapter in the OmniAccess 5740 Unified Services Gateway CLI Command
Reference Guide.
Note: IDS (IDS and IDS signature update) is a licensed feature, and not part of the
basic security package. To enable this functionality, you need to first install the
license. For more information on how to install the license, refer to “License
Manager” chapter.
