CHAPTER 2 THE COMMAND LINE INTERFACE
CLI OVERVIEW
The Command Line Interface (CLI) is the primary interface to access the
OmniAccess 5740 USG. The CLI is the interface for console and connections via
SSH, Telnet, and Modem. The CLI, which automatically starts once the required
processes are up provides commands that you can use to perform various tasks,
including configuring the OmniAccess 5740 USG, monitoring and troubleshooting
the system, enabling network connectivity, and verifying the system hardware.
This chapter provides an overview of the CLI. For more detailed information on
the CLI syntax and a description on its parameters, refer to the OmniAccess
5740 Unified Services Gateway CLI Command Reference Guide.
