AUTO QOS CONFIGURATION
AutoQoS is a feature that enables user to configure QoS on the OmniAccess
5740 USG with minimal effort. Normally, QoS configuration involve definition of
class, match list association with the class, definition of policy, class association
with the policy and defining class traffic attributes like bandwidth, police, shape,
etc. This entire configuration might be cumbersome for user to configure.
Auto QoS commands creates QoS configuration - automatically classifies traffic,
applies the required traffic attributes for each of the classes based on the class
needs. Auto QoS configuration automatically gets enabled on the interface. These
configurations are not editable.
Note: Auto QoS commands are available only in the Interface Configuration mode.

OIP AUTO QOS CONFIGURATION
Auto QoS VoIP create policies and classes as required by VoIP application.
VoIP Auto QoS is typically configured on the Serial Interface (that has HDLC and
PPP encapsulation). This is to achieve low-latency on the serial interfaces or
Point to Point link.
Note: Auto VoIP configurations are applied only in the egress direction of the interface as
queuing in involved.
