The MTU command is used to configure the MTU value on the serial interface,
i.e., the maximum size of the transmitted layer 2 payload.

Command (in ICM) Description
encapsulation {frame-
relay|ppp|hdlc|mlfr
<bundle_id>|mlppp <bundle_id>}
This command sets the encapsulation on
the serial interface.

mtu <64-1500> Configures the MTU value on the serial
interface.
