• Configure service name for PPPoE. See “To Configure PPPoE Service

• Configure the access concentrator name of the PPPoE server. See “To
Configure PPPoE Service Name”.
• Initiate PPPoE negotiation. See “To Initiate PPPoE Negotiation Manually”
• Configure PPPoE retry timer. See “To Set Timer for Retransmission of
PADI/PADR Packets”
• Configure PPPoE maximum retry timer. See “To Set Maximum Retry for
PADIs”
Note: Configuration of LCP parameters, IPCP parameters, timers and counters, and
authentication, are optional and these commands are similar to the commands that
are documented in the PPP chapter. The show commands are also similar to the PPP
show commands.
