TO RESET A ROUTER USING BGP OUTBOUND SOFT RESET
To perform an outbound soft reset, no pre-configuration is required. Enter this
command in the Super User Mode and Configuration Mode as follows:
Command (in SUM/CM) Description
clear ip bgp {*|<neighbor-
address>|<peer-group-name>} soft
out
Performs a outbound soft reset on the
connection specified in the command.
