TO CONFIGURE RIP IN A VRF
Note:
1. All the RIP commands executed in the RIP Global Configuration Mode will apply
to the default VRF.
2. All the RIP commands executed in the address family mode will apply to the VRF
if the address family is associated with the VRF.
3. There is no change in the syntax of the existing RIP commands. Only those
affected by VRF-CE are listed in this document.
EXAMPLE
ALU(config)# router rip
ALU(config-router rip)# address-family ipv4 unicast vrf ALU_vrf
Command (in RCM) Description
address-family ipv4 unicast
vrf <vrf-name>
Enter this command in the RIP Routing
Configuration Mode.
This command associates the address family
with the VRF and enters the VRF
configuration mode.
