Step 6: Configure IP address for the interface
ALU(config-if <interface-name>)# ip address {<ip-
address subnet-mask>|<ip-address/prefix-length>}
Example:
ALU(config-if GigabitEthernet3/0)# ip address
20.20.20.20/24
Step 7: Interface Binding - Attach the configured filters to the appropriate
interfaces as per the desired direction i.e, either “IN/OUT”. See “To Attach /
Detach a Filter to an Interface”
Note: An interface can have only one ingress and one egress filter.
Step 8: Use the show commands to view the configured filters. See “Filter Show
Commands”.
