Error Messages and Codes
MCU NVM (EEPROM) Access Fail
NVM (EEPROM) access error (The read values are different from those that were
written, or there is I2C communication error).
Applicable Chain-Link Code
• 041-341: MCU NVM (EEPROM) Access Fail
Initial Actions
• Power cycle the printer.
• If the problem persists, follow the procedure below.
1. Turn the power Off and On.
2. Check whether there is poor connection between the EEPROM and the MCU
PWB.
3. If no problems are found, replace the following parts in sequence:
•EEPROM
• MCU PWB (REP 18.12, page 8-202)
