Service Parts Disassembly
REP 18.5 Front Cover Interlock Switch

Do not expose the Imaging Unit to light for more than 5 minutes. Cover the
Imaging Unit to avoid damage. Do not touch the surface of the Imaging Unit.
1. Remove the Front Cover Assembly and the Inner Cover Assembly (REP 19.1,
page 8-207).
2. Remove the Right Cover (REP 19.8, page 8-219).
3. Disconnect the wiring harness connector that is connected to the Front Cover
Interlock Switch.
4. Release the hooks that secure the Front Cover Interlock Switch and remove the
Front Cover Interlock Switch.
