Error Messages and Codes
IBT Front Cover Open
The Front Cover Open was detected by the IBT Front Cover Switch.
Applicable Chain-Link Code
• 094-300: IBT Front Cover
Initial Actions
• Power cycle the printer.
• If the problem persists, follow the procedure below.
1. Perform the following steps:
• Check the Front Cover for damage or mismatch.
• Perform the Switches test in Diagnostics.
• Check the connection between the IBT Front Cover Switch J272 and the
MCU PWB J416 for open circuit, short circuit, and poor contact.
2. If no problems are found, replace the MCU PWB (REP 18.12, page 8-202).
