Theory of Operation
Paper Transport
Paper Transport up to the Registration Area
Paper that was fed from the Paper Tray is transported to the Registration section
by the Takeaway Roll. The Takeaway Roll rotates from the drive that is provided by
the Main Drive Motor through the Takeaway Clutch.
Paper fed from the Tray 1 (MPT) is transported to the Registration section by the
Drive Roll. The Drive Roll rotates by the drive that is provided from the Main Drive
Motor through the Takeaway Clutch.
