IREWALL SESSION COMMANDS
TO MODIFY DEFAULT TIME-OUT VALUES
• Default TCP value is 900 seconds.
• Default UDP value is 300 seconds.
• Default ICMP value is 30 seconds.

ALU(config-firewall-session)# default timeout tcp 10
Command (in Firewall Session Mode) Description
default timeout {icmp|tcp|udp}
<0-2147483648>
Enter this command in the
Firewall Session Configuration
Mode.
Firewall session table has a
periodic timer to age out inactive
entries. To change these default
values, use this command.
Timeout value ‘0’ stands for
infinity.
