Theory of Operation
Tray 1 (MPT)
Load paper into Tray 1 and align the Front Side Guide and Rear Side Guide. As the
guide positions change, the variable resistance of the Tray 1 Paper Size Sensor also
changes, which changes the output voltage.
The paper width is detected by the value of the output voltage.
