Command (in CM) Description
ping [vrf <vrf-name>] {<ip-
address>|<hostname>}
Ping command is used for testing
connectivity. If the VRF name is specified, the
packets will be routed using the routing table
of the specified VRF on a interface
associated with the VRF.
telnet [vrf <vrf-name>]
{<ip-address>|<hostname>}
Telnet command is used for logging into a
remote system specified by the address. If
the VRF name is specified, the packets will
be routed using the routing table of the
specified VRF on a interface associated with
the VRF.
ssh [vrf <vrf-name>] {<ip-
address>|<hostname>} <user-
name> [version {1|2}]
SSH command is used for logging into a
remote system specified by the address. If
the VRF name is specified, the packets will
be routed using the routing table of the
specified VRF on a interface associated with
the VRF.
traceroute [ vrf <vrf-name>]
{<ip-address>|<hostname>}
Traceroute command is used for figuring out
the path taken by the IP packet. If the VRF
name is specified, the packets will be routed
using the routing table of the specified VRF
on a interface associated with the VRF.
